You don’t always need two hours for a play; sometimes everything can be said in just 10 minutes. This festival brings 19 short plays – all that pack a punch – that reflect on the American family.
Short plays are fun, punchy and sometimes, incredibly moving. Short & Stout is a festival designed to celebrate this unique art form. American Lives Theatre has found 19 of the brightest, funniest, smartest short plays around and all of them reflect on The American Family.
Come see FIVE different programs, each lasting about 80 minutes. One weekend only!! Bite size and brilliant, these plays represent some of the best playwrights working today all acted and directed by the best Indy talent.
