The 39th season begins with living, female composer of color, Jessie Montgomery’s Banner, a deconstruction of the National Anthem from her experiences and perspective. Collaboration continues with 2020 Winner of the American Pianist Awards, Kenny Broberg, performing Schumann’s Piano Concerto. Completing the evening is Mendelssohn’s beloved “Italian” Symphony.
