Take Me to the River NOLA Live! features some of the most influential figures in modern New Orleans funk, R&B, soul and jazz, anchored by the city’s pre-eminent 21st-century funk-fusion export, Dumpstaphunk. Alongside original core members Tony Hall and Nick Daniels, and newcomers Alex Wasily, Ryan Nyther and Devin Trusclair, Ivan and Ian Neville (the sons of Aaron and Art Neville respectively) have revitalized the Neville/Meters groove and built upon their family’s iconic NOLA legacy. Joining Dumpstaphunk onstage will be Crescent City musical royalty George Porter Jr. and funk savant Jon Cleary.
