The Pedrito Martinez Group will headline the opening night concert for the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC). Pedrito Martinez has toured the world, working with many renowned musicians, including Wynton Marsalis, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Dave Matthews, and Sting. The Pedrito Martinez Group’s self-titled debut album received a Grammy nomination in 2013. This vibrant group will bring their Afro-Cuban rhythms to the Sagamore Ballroom stage to kick off PASIC’s four-day convention showcasing all areas of percussion performance, education, technology, and more.
