It’s December, 1922…

… and a heavy snowfall has stranded the Clerical Error Productions Vaudeville Company in Indianapolis. They’re trying to make it to the Colonial Theatre in Philadelphia and then home to Poughkeepsie, NY, for the holidays.

Their only chance to cover accommodations and train fare is to throw together an impromptu show, but the cast is discouraged and under rehearsed. Mother Benn and Digger Duffy have to push their performers to new vaudevillian heights and cheerier holiday spirits.
