The 2023 4SCENE Filmmaker Showcase highlights the top-tier work of professional filmmakers and storytellers from Indianapolis. This special 4SCENE event is also opening its platform to showcase the student productions of the 2022-2023 40 West Digital Program, pioneered by Ira Mallory, a 40 West Digital program leader at Indy’s very own Martin Luther King Community Center. The lineup of this year’s showcase is dedicated to presenting the groundbreaking work of these talented individuals on a stage where it is truly seen and experienced in its most glorious form.

We will be spotlighting 5 professional filmmakers along with 3 student filmmakers of the MLK Center’s 40 West Digital Program. The goal is to provide an audience that truly appreciates the arts and work that creatives are doing in our city. We’re inviting members of several organizations out to participate in the screenings, with the intention of sparking the right conversations when it comes to finding resources. There will be opportunities for networking before the show, during intermission, and after the show as well. Food and adult beverages will be available for purchase.
