Members of Carmel Creative Writers, Inc., will present several genres of writing based on works by Indiana Artisans.
“Art-Inspired Words is a celebration of creativity and expression, where artists and writers come together to share their work and inspire one another,” said Rosalyn Demaree, Indiana Artisan director. “It is a unique evening where art and words intertwine.”
The Art-Inspired Words program gives writers and artists the opportunity to grow their audiences. A slideshow of the works of Indiana Artisan artists that stirred the writers’ emotions will be shown as writers read each original piece.
Oct. 19, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Community Room A of the Carmel Clay Public Library, 425 E Main St.
Free tickets are available on Eventbrite. Seating is limited.
“For five years, Carmel Creative Writers has published an annual anthology of our writing,” said John Schleeter, co-organizer of the event. “This year’s edition will be available for sale in November at All Things Carmel and include the pieces written for Art-Inspired Words.”
