The ILA member artists will redefine their own boundaries as they present their visions and talent through pieces of widely contrasting sizes.
Each artist will create one painting 36″ x 36″, along with several pieces no larger than six inches in size. The seventeen participating artists hailing or descended from seven Latino countries have poured their creative talent into this exhibition. Through their unique perspectives and individual skills, they present a thought-provoking exploration of scale, enabling the viewer to experience their interpretations through the art.
“We believe this exhibition will show visitors that the members of Indy Latina Artists (ILA) aren’t afraid to step out of their comfort zone and take on the challenge of creating art at both large and tiny sizes,” co-founder Mirvia Sol Eckert said. “This is the last ILA show of the year, and we want to go out with a bang.”
