In this experimental class, we will create mixed media collage pieces inspired by stories found in the ancient Roman book of myths, Ovid’s Metamorphoses. Each session will start with a story, a meditation, and a surprising project. If you would like, your final project can be included in the April First Friday Show, The Metamorphoses, at the Studio Alchemy Gallery! Taught by both Addie Hirschten and Victoria Williams Steen. Instructor: This class is taught by the artist Addie Hirschten who is a contemporary impressionist painter, host of the Studio Alchemy Podcast and owner of the Studio Alchemy Art Gallery. Hirschten has been a professional artist and painting instructor for over 12 years, has a BFA, MLS, and is the author of several books including the Alchemy of Painting.
