Artist Reception: Fingercreation's For the Love of the Game!

Presented by Gallery Forty-Two at Gallery Forty-Two

Join us for an ALL-STAR evening!! Meet the Artist!

“Basketball has always been my first love. I fell in love with the game at an early age. Growing up I was a HUGE Jordan and Kobe fan, but my favorite player was Nick Van Exel being that we both were left-handed. I chose the players in this collection because these are some of the top players in today’s game and the past and I can appreciate what each one brings to the game.” — FINGERCREATIONS

Indianapolis native Kenneth Hordge, also known as FINGERCREATIONS, creates artwork that captures the essence of his subjects and their intense emotions while embodying his unique artistic expression. Known for his celebrity portraits including the late Bob Marley, 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G., and Mahammad Ali, Hordge’s’ God-given talents have been the impetus of his inspiration.

FINGERCREATIONS is a self taught visual artist and continues to use his unique medium of oil pastels, drywall, and broken glass while creating with just his “fingers”.

This rising star in the art world has been featured in numerous galleries and media outlets and can be found in private collections of NBA players, celebrities, and art collectors.  FINGERCREATIONS is a proud member of The Eighteen Art Collective which created the Black Lives Matter Mural on historic Indiana Avenue in 2020.
