Time to thaw out those green thumbs, gardeners! Defrost with help from three leading plant professionals in this half-day horticulture forum at Newfields.

Peter Zale, Ph.D., Associate Director, Conservation, Plant Breeding and Collections at Longwood Gardens will discuss his 30+ plant exploration trips and how they’ve played a role in his personal garden. Brent Horvath, President of Intrinsic Perennials Gardens Inc., will present on new and underused perennials and ornamental grasses. Finally, Newfields’ own Horticulturist Patricia Schnieder will share the design process behind the historic Border Garden renovation on the Oldfields estate.

We’ll conclude this half-day session with all the speakers back on stage for a panel discussion.
