Hispanic Heritage Fiesta

Hispanic Heritage Fiesta

at Unknown

National Hispanic Heritage Month officially begins Sept. 15 each year — the anniversary of independence for the Latin American countries of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. During our celebration, our guests were invited to enhance their Zoo experience with festivities that celebrate Hispanic culture. We’ll have decorations, activities, Latin-inspired food and more!

See rain on the radar? Don’t worry because in the case of inclement weather, the festivities will relocate inside the Zoo’s Party Pavilion! Nothing can stop the fiesta fun during the Hispanic Heritage Fiesta this fall! This event is free for members and included with regular Zoo admission.

Activities and entertainment include:
• Find animals from Latin America in the Zoo scavenger hunt
• Take a swing at a piñata on the hour
• Make fun themed crafts
• Taste great foods inspired by Latin American dishes
• Visit information booths and register to win prizes
• Music, games and more!
