Stefan Jackiw, Violin
Follow the classic tales of Don Juan and Till Eulenspiegel, the inspiration behind some of Richard Strauss’ most popular works. First, be swept off your feet by the romantic hero, Don Juan, and then join in the exploits of the original prankster, Till Eulenspiegel, in a tone poem chronicling the misadventures of the German folk hero. Hailed as " … talent that’s off the scale …" by The Washington Post, violinist Stefan Jackiw rounds out the program with two violin works by Mozart and Lutos?awski.
