Esteemed conductor Hans Graf returns to the ISO in a showcase of the ISO’s own musicians including Principal Trumpet Ryan Beach in Copland’s poignant Quiet City, and Principal Harp Diane Evans in Debussy’s rich Danse sacrée et profane. The concert concludes with Stravinsky’s Pétrouchka, a colorful ballet score that tells the story of three magical puppets who come to life in a Russian fairground.
