In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Sister City relationship between Indianapolis and Cologne, Germany, individuals of all ages are invited to view a special exhibit that explores Cologne and the German-American experience. It features Cologne architecture, sports and culture; German traditions, toys and art; the German immigrant story; German-American contributions to the development of Indianapolis, including those of the Vonnegut family; the works of Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.; and an 1890’s portrait of Clemens Vonnegut, Sr. by famed local artist T.C. Steele.
