at Unknown

Presented by Storytelling Arts of Indiana and IndyFringe Festival, Jabberwocky is a gathering of "jabbers" willing to share their life stories based on a different theme each month September through May. Every month four scheduled non-professional storytellers – just regular people from our community – share their life experiences, and afterward, anyone from the audience is welcome to share a 3 – 4 minute story related to that month’s theme. Free snacks and cash bar will be available.

This month’s theme is My Old House: The Agony and Ecstasy of Historic Restoration. In recent years, Indianapolis has experienced resurgence in the revitalization of historic neighborhoods including the renovations of old homes. Come listen to the stories of some of the brave souls who have taken on the challenge of restoring their homes. Scheduled to appear: Jean Richcreek (Meridian Park Neighborhood), Paul Smith (Old Northside neighborhood), Mark Webb and Lee Smith (Meridian park Neighborhood) and Steve and Barb Tegarden (Chatham Arch). This months program in in collaboration with Indiana Landmarks.
