The Garfield Park Arts Center, in partnership with the Southside Art League (SALI), is pleased to feature the winners of the annual Midwest National Abstract Art Competition. Celebrating its ninth year, this juried exhibition has attracted artists from across the country. Forty-one professional artists were juried into this exhibit, representing seven states, including Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Florida, South Carolina, and New York. Their paintings represent a wide variety of contemporary media and artistic techniques. All works are for sale, so art collectors are advised to come early for the best selection.Black tie optional Opening Reception is Saturday, September 28, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
