Justin Chase Lane’s SeeSaw Studio presents “Black and White and Red, All Over.” Tableaus depicting unfulfilled love have been created and performed by Lane’s Creative Concepts students at the Indianapolis Art Institute. Rather than create an exhibition of photographs, the students sought to create an exhibit, photographable by the public, which is a fusion of their creative interests. It engenders and freezes different moments in the lives of three hypothetical couples when love is heartbroken. Their exhibit represents the idea that relationships — even those formed during their 11-week class — are strengthened through communication, collaboration, creativity and the photographic process.
