In association with more than 20 other glassblowing studios across the nation, the Indianapolis Art Center opens its doors on Saturday November 9th for the inaugural Veterans Glassblowing Day.
The workshop, which takes place in two sessions, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., and 1:30 – 3:30 p.m., will be taught by one of Indiana’s most talented art glass makers, Ben Johnson. Each session will accommodate 8 participants, and no prior glassblowing experience is necessary.
For more information, visit www.veteransglassblowingday.org. To reserve a spot, call 317-255-2464. In addition to these workshops, the art center will also be hosting additional painting workshops at the same times, taught by local artist and long-time instructor Vandra Pentecost.
