A stop on the IDADA First Friday Gallery Walk, the Art Bank will be presenting the premiere of Rachel Illingworth’s feature show, "Vital Threat."
"Vital Threat" focuses on the effects of human-produced trash, which eventually end up in our waterways. Illingworth’s show incorporates use of these materials to demonstrate how permanent they are, while redeeming them from the trash heap.
Also making their gallery debut, new artists Alex Fox (multimedia) and Jeff Woodall (painting).
The Art Bank is also collecting donations of children’s books for our November Featured Charity, "Give Hope, Fight Poverty," to stock libraries in schools in Swaziland, an ongoing effort throughout the month.
