Grand Nationals is a spectacular music and pageantry event, showcasing the country’s most talented scholastic marching bands. Music enthusiasts and band fans from across the nation and around the world travel to witness the impressive performances that are the heart and soul of this event. More than 90 bands will travel to Indianapolis from 19 states – including 

Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Wisconsin to compete for the national title.

The Grand National Championship is “the” moment that scholastic marching bands strive to reach. Months and even years go into preparation for these competitions. Grand Nationals is a weekend filled with inspired performances that are executed with precision and include some of the most focused and committed students and teachers in the country. Lucas Oil Stadium is the largest venue that most of these youth will ever perform in, and Grand Nationals provides the largest audience. These students rise to the occasion. The marching band pageantry movement has exploded over the last ten years, and Music for All has met this explosion with an unparalleled Grand Nationals experience that annually raises the bar for student performance and event excellence.
