“Freemasons: Fact and Fiction” exhibit at the Johnson County Museum

at Unknown

The public is invited to a reception for the opening of the “Freemasons: Fact and Fiction” exhibit on Friday, January 24th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Johnson County Museum in Franklin. Franklin’s Masonic Lodge No. 107 occupied the building at 135 North Main for 64 years before it became home to the museum in 1988. Much about the Freemasons organization is misunderstood, and the exhibit will help visitors separate fact from myth about this fraternal group. “Freemasons: Fact and Fiction” will remain on display through April 2014. The reception and exhibit are free of charge and open to the public.

The Johnson County Museum is located at 135 North Main Street in downtown Franklin.
