Kick off National Preservation Week by attending the Preservation Week Road Show at the History Center. Learn about the value of historic objects in your family collections and how to best care for and preserve them from appraisers and collection conservators.

We have assembled valued professionals in their fields to provide free one-on-one consultations. Guests register for specific time slots for the road show and choose from the wide list of experts. Appointments are available from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition, guests who register will have the opportunity to tour the Indiana Experience, including the W. Brooks and Wanda Y. Fortune History Lab, which features methods used by conservation staff to safely apply tissue paper mends to paper tears.
