Three Indiana-made documentaries address ecological challenges and sustainability successes, as part of the Going Green Festival at the Indiana State Museum. The IMAX is located in White River State Park, downtown Indianapolis. Filmmakers and subjects will be in attendance.

Down to Earth: a Ball State University student-made film about a local organic farmer and his family, their challenges and successes.

FarmCity: An Indy Food Story: by Indianapolis filmmaker J.D. Schuyler, explores numerous initiatives and activists in the urban food community.

Everglades of the North: The Story of the Grand Kankakee Marsh: the harrowing true story of the draining of one million acres of marshland in northwest Indiana, and the “straightening” of the Kankakee River.

Opportunities to meet the filmmakers and subjects of these films will permeate the evening.

In addition, organizers are bringing in artwork by Indianapolis artist Kelley Jordan Heneveld from her “Farm Stories” series.
