Women of the past: no rights, no say, no power, right? Well, not exactly. In honor of Women's History Month, Bookmamas Bookstore presents a panel of award-winning, critically-acclaimed historical fiction authors for a fun and surprising look at the ways women empowered themselves through the ages. The evening  includes a lively audience challenge with door prizes and a booksigning. Start time: 6:30 p.m. at Bookmamas, 9 S. Johnson Avenue. Authors attending: Alison Atlee (The Typewriter Girl), Jessica Brockmole, (Letters from Skye), Anna Lee Huber (the Lady Darby mystery series, including Mortal Arts), Marci Jefferson (The Girl on the Golden Coin), and K.B. Laugheed (The Spirit Keeper).
