The Phil returns to Pike Performing Arts Center for Portraits of Darkness and Light.

Orcenith Smith conducts the all-volunteer Philharmonic Orchestra in a program that includes: Libby Larsen's Bach 358; Gustav Holst's Lyric Movement for viola & orchestra with Nicole Brockmann, viola soloist; & Tchaikowsky's Symphony No. 4 in F minor, Opus 36.
Plus the 2013 winners of the Indiana Music Education Association's Composers Contest will be introduced as the Phil orchestrates and performs their winning compositions.

Doors open 30 minutes before concert. There will be a free Listen & Learn session with the conductor and soloist beginning at 2:30 pm in the Pike Studio Theater. There will be a 15 minute intermission.
