Primary Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition featuring the vibrant artwork of MaryAnne Nguyen. In her newest works, Nguyen finds inspiration from past cultures and societies that possessed a more direct relationship with their environment. Through the use of allegory and symbolism, Nguyen seeks to create images that represent an innate connection to nature and give face to the elements of nature. Inspired by nature’s clever designs and its ability to create and destroy, Nguyen provides the viewer with undistracted focus and clarity of form for contemplation.
