Summer Solstice Celebration & Free Outdoor Concert

Presented by Newfields at Indianapolis Museum of Art

Check the IMA's Facebook or Twitter for the latest weather updates.

Jump start the summer season with IMA’s annual celebration in The Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park: 100 Acres. Make a little art, have a bite to eat in the meadow, and enjoy great company where nature and creativity come together. Get warmed up with Indy’s DJ Kyle Long and activities curated by Heidi Fledderjohn.

Music
Described as "a hurricane of influences," Rupa & The April Fishes’ musical languages converge from around the world; from punk to indie rock, from reggae to raga to rockabolly, chanson to cumbia, from Malian guitar patterns to mournful duduk melodies. Experience a day in the park like no other. Bring a blanket and dancing shoes. Event occurs rain or shine.

Food & Beverage
Onsite Vendors: TBD
