At this annual event meant for all ages, see these remarkable birds up close and learn how to attract them to your garden. Tim Tolford from the Hummer/Bird Banding Research Collaborative (HBRC) will be catching, banding and releasing hummingbirds. Tim will discuss the migration and feeding patterns of the birds and how his research is important to protecting the birds and their habitat. There will be three catch and release sessions, beginning at 8:30, the second at 9:30 and the final at 10:30. Each session will last about 45 minutes. At the Madeline F. Elder Greenhouse, purchase plants and products that attract wildlife to your home.
