The Hendricks County Arts Council, in partnership with the Town of Avon, invites you to sit back and relax to the smooth sounds of the Cool City Band as they take the stage for a free outdoor concert starting at 6:30pm. Prior to the event there will be information on local arts organizations, demonstrations and more starting at 12 PM! Pre-concert events: Hendricks County Arts Council will host glass paperweight making sessions with local glass artist Lisa Pelo and her crew of artists from Hot Blown Glass, Ltd. This event will run from 12 noon til 6PM. Jeremy South will offer Spin=A-Pot for $15 to all ages from 12-3pm In addition, representatives from the Hendricks County Arts Council, Hendricks Civic Theatre, Hendricks Symphonic Society and other local arts organizations will be on hand to share information about all the wonderful “art happenings” in Hendricks County. In case of rain the concert will be held at the Avon Middle School South Auditorium. The art opportunities will still be available at the Avon Town Hall Park from 12-6pm.
