On Friday evening, September 5, the Indiana Roof Ballroom will welcome 40 young violinists from 12 countries along with nine distinguished jury members led by Jury President Jaime Laredo as we officially open the Ninth Quadrennial International Violin Competition of Indianapolis. This black-tie event will showcase to our international guests the unique and elegant atmosphere of the historic Indiana Roof Ballroom, a distinctive menu highlighting the tastes of Indiana, spectacular entertainment and the pageantry of the parade of nations as the violinists make their inaugural appearance at "The Indianapolis."
