This workshop on writing for the young adult market will be designed with you in mind. At the first meeting, we’ll cover ideation, styles of novel planning, and point of view. We’ll also plan topics for the remaining meeting to meet participants’ specific needs. Possible topics include voice, show vs. tell, critique groups, finding a literary agent, query letters, working with small publishers, self-publishing, and/or marketing your young adult novel. Bring your computer or writing supplies—both sessions will be run as a workshop, with plenty of opportunities for practice and discussion.
