The Carmel Clay Public Library Foundation is pleased to present an evening with award-winning and New York Times best-selling author Hank Phillippi Ryan on Monday, November 17, 2014 from 7 – 8:30 p.m. at the Carmel Clay Public Library, 55 4th Ave SE, Carmel IN.
A bestselling author of six mystery novels, Indianapolis native Hank Phillippi Ryan has won multiple prestigious awards for her crime fiction: the Agatha, Anthony, Macavity, and most recently, the coveted Mary Higgins Clark Award. National reviews have called her a “master at crafting suspenseful mysteries” and “a superb and gifted storyteller.”
Her newest thriller, “Truth Be Told”, part of the best-selling Jane Ryland and Jake Brogan series, begins with tragedy: a middle-class family evicted from their suburban home. In digging up the facts on this heartbreaking story—and on other foreclosures— reporter Ryland soon learns the truth behind a big-bucks scheme and the surprising players who will stop at nothing, including murder, to keep their goal a secret. Turns out, there’s more than one way to rob a bank.
Her next novel “Truth Be Told” will be released on October 7, 2014.
