Join Butler University's Department of Theatre for a lecture by the Fall 2014 Christel DeHaan Visiting International Theatre Artist (VITA), Michael Williams. Williams who currently serves as Managing Director of the Cape Town Opera will speak on his recent work, the Mandela Trilogy. This 50 minute lecture includes an overview of the importance of Mandela, the creation and direction of the musical theatre piece, and clips from the musical. Audience members are welcome to join Williams and Butler Theatre students after the lecture for a rehearsal of The Water Carriers.
