Between Light and Shade: Works by Sherry Stone

Between Light and Shade: Works by Sherry Stone

at Unknown

Artist Sherry Stone responds to the interplay of light and shade on human paths and its allegorical connections to the course of life. These patterns on foot and bike paths, such as the Monon Trail, express the texture of everyday lives and capture the life that happens unnoticed between the nuances of light and shade. Sherry Stone is a Senior Lecturer in Foundation Studies at Herron School of Art + Design, IUPUI. Her work has been exhibited nationally and she has co-authored books for beginning students in oil painting and pastel.
