In a ten-week, workshop-structured course, writers will develop germinal ideas and create a working script for a one-act play. Students will read the works of other developed writers as well as those of their classmates and engage in a positive, collaborative artistic environment.

Their final pieces will be presented in a reading and open talk-back for an audience of friends, family, and various members of the Indianapolis Theater Community at Indy Reads Books – an independent bookstore and local venue for the literary and theatrical arts.

Every Saturday 9.30-10.30 (Grades 6-11)*
Every Saturday 1.30- 2.30 (Ages 17+)

TUITION: $50 (Tuition covers space rental, class materials, and the support of professional artists in Indianapolis)

*You may request a class outside of your particular group should conflicts arise, depending on over-all enrollment and prior writing experience.

Time outside of class may be scheduled for script discussion, questions, formatting help, etc., so long as you schedule a time to meet with the instructor.
