Introducing children to genealogy is something many parents and grandparents desire to do but few know how to implement. "Growing Little Leaves" is a new IHS series created to meet this need. This program educates adults on how to teach children about genealogy concepts. The Growing Little Leaves series continues with a program designed to help adults teach children about family relationships and memory preservation.
Learn how to use plastic Easter eggs to create a fun game of family member recognition. Also, learn how to help children create a meaningful time capsule representing their lives.
Presenter Emily Kowalski Schroeder is a genealogist, blogger, mother of two and a meteorologist. Growing Little Leaves is based on her blog of the same title.
