This is the first version of Quick Trio since 2004 to play primarily original material in their sets. The tunes performed are each unique in their Forms and Rhythm Structures. The musical challenge for the group is to make each tune, for the listening audience, a cohesion of melody, harmony, spirit, groove and plain good fun.

Quick Trio is a group with an appealing sound mix that has been active since 2004. Adaptability has served the group in finding regular venues to play at. The Quick Trio sound got the group into a regular rotation at Manhattan’s Restaurant in Uptown Toledo. Starting in 2007 through 2013, the group played twice a month. When Manhattan’s ended their live music policy, downtown Toledo’s Ye Olde Durty Bird secured Quick Trio for monthly gigs starting in 2014 and continuing through 2015. Quick Trio has played Downtown Sylvania’s One2 Lounge 3-4 times a year since 2010. Quick Trio and Jason Quick Solo has been performing at Maumee’s Jazz Club Degage since 2008. Quick Trio has also performed at various private and public functions at the Toledo Museum of Art. Cocktail Parties, Fundraiser Dinners, “It’s Friday” Live Music Series.
