Visit the Barker Brothers’ Pottery Shop in Prairietown where a kiln full

of wares is being fired. Come find out how a white hot fire and some table

salt puts the finish on the pottery. The salting process will occur mid- to

late-afternoon as the fire reaches its hottest point of 2,300 degrees. Before

you leave for the day, be sure to visit the Conner Prairie Store and purchase

wood–fired pottery, made here on the grounds, to take home.
