Between the Dot and the Dash

The Stutz Artist Association will present to the Indy art scene two of its latest emerging and creative artists – the 2014-15 Stutz Residents who have enhanced their creativity through the Stutz Artist Residency program over the past year. Artists Cheryl Lorance and Marna Shopoff, will unveil their latest works during their show “Between the Dot and the Dash” – the Stutz Artist Residency Exhibition Opening Reception, Sept. 4, 5-9 pm. Lorance is a limestone sculptor and painter; Shopoff is a contemporary fine artist. After nearly a year as Stutz Residents, both artists say their work has evolved and expanded as a result of the experience. Each have been recognized for their work, been featured in local and national galleries, and invited to share their skills through workshops and classes. The public will have the opportunity to see the results of their growth during the month of September, when the artists’ are featured in an exhibition. The exhibition will debut their unique and distinct talents. The reception is a part of IDADA First Friday.
