This interactive presentation and discussion will include a student re-enactment Dr. King’s famous “I Have A Dream” speech, witness reflections, and a panel of community leaders and historians considering the speech’s impact on Indianapolis as well as what future dreams of Indianapolis should be. Beginning at St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church—where Dr. King once preached—the event will conclude with a 10 minute walk to the Landmark for Peace memorial at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Park.
