The Ellett Family. A FAMILY AFFAIR

The Ellett family loves art. It is a large part of their lives both individually and as a family. Kent and Amy Ellett became engaged after a date to the Indianapolis Museum of Art, and as a couple, have always experienced art as a kind of spiritual discipline and release. As their children came along, the Elletts would have art parties that later grew into an after-school art program involving the local elementary schools. Kent enjoys oil painting and turning wood. Amy’s handmade paper bowls and children’s art kits can be found at the Speedway Center for the Arts. Her art has been featured on local television. Quentin (20) currently studying philosophy of art at IUPUI, has had one of his abstract paintings featured in the Indianapolis Star. Christina (15) and Chloe (10) have both been honored for their art in the local schools and have received awards for their 4H art projects at both the Marion County and Indiana State Fair.
The Ellett exhibit will open September 3rd and run through September 26th.
Bring your family to meet their family September 11th during our Culture at the Creek evening from 6 – 8 pm.
Also, visit the 2nd Floor Gallery exhibit during the Festival of the Turning Leaves September 26th and 27th.
