Revved Up: Cars in Art

Presented by Newfields at Indianapolis Museum of Art

An icon of modern American life, the automobile sparks strong cultural associations, from freedom, progress, mobility and speed to adventure, danger and even decay. Revved Up: Cars in Art, opening concurrently with Dream Cars: Innovative Designs, Visionary Ideas, will feature 17 works from the IMA’s collection that show how cars have fired the imagination of artists since their invention.
