Amy Speace

A former Shakespearean actress who started putting her poetry to music only in her late 20’s, Amy Speace was discovered by folk/pop legend Judy Collins who signed her to her imprint Wildflower Records in 2006. After 18 years in NYC, Brooklyn and Jersey and 3 critically-acclaimed releases, Speace moved to East Nashville, TN to explore the rich songwriting community and to deepen her own writing and sound, releasing “Land Like A Bird” on Thirty Tigers. Speace’s 2013 release, “How to Sleep In A Stormy Boat,” a record loosely based around some of Shakespeare’s characters and poetry, received widespread critical raves from NPR’s “All Things Considered”, The New York Times and Billboard Magazine.

“Amy Speace’s songs hang together like a short story collection…it’s a gift to hear a heart so modest, even when it’s wide open,” – Dave Marsh

Doug and Telisha Williams offer dead right, honest songwriting.  They are the driving force behind the band Wild Ponies, and their 2013 release “Things That Used to Shine” (produced by Ray Kennedy) garnered widespread critical acclaim, spent 6 weeks in the top 20 of the AMA Radio chart, and over 20 weeks in the top 40. Doug and Telisha are an essential part of the fabric of their community, hosting the weekly show “Whiskey Wednesday” on East Nashville Radio, and being recently named by “The Alternate Root” as one of the Top East Nashville Artists Right Now.

“Wild Ponies might be Americana’s new dark horse” –Michael Bialas – Huffington Post

Rod Picott

The son of a welder from rural New England, Rod Picott is a masterful songwriter and soulful singer. Slaid Cleaves, Ray Wylie Hubbard and Fred Eagelsmith have recorded Picott’s songs. Picott has carved a career for himself with a run of 6 beautifully crafted self released cds over the last 13 years and a well earned reputation as a engaging, emotion fueled performer. Rod Picott’s latest release was produced by RS Field (Billy Joe Shaver, Justin Townes Earle) and spent 22 weeks on the AMA chart.

“Accept Rod Picott for what he is; Americana of the highest order” – Acoustic Magazine
