In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the community-wide Spirit & Place Festival and the DREAM theme, veterans and their families as well as those who care about the status of veterans in our community are invited to a resource fair and panel discussion focusing on how physically and mentally wounded veterans can use the arts and humanities as a way to deal with their experiences and challenges. With the theme, “Dreaming of Rights for People With Disabilities,” this program will feature NPR’s Steve Inskeep and New York Times bestselling author Luis Carlos Montalvan and his therapy dog. This program will be held in Central Library’s Clowes Auditorium.
