Artist Wilson Hurley’s majestic three-panel painting–October Suite: Grand Canyon, 1991–has greeted visitors inside the museum’s entrance for more than two decades. Now a team is working to conserve the iconic artwork before it is featured in the museum’s must-see Grand Canyon exhibition, opening March 26, 2016. Don’t miss this rare public opportunity to see conservators at work and learn more about the delicate task of maintaining treasured art. Included with museum admission.
