Holiday Cheers, an adults-only event, returns to Conner Prairie Dec. 17.

Starting at 6 p.m., guests will enjoy an elegant evening of hors d’ouevres, wine and local craft beer before heading out for a candlelight stroll through 1836 Prairietown to experience how various holidays were celebrated in the past.

Food will be provided by Sinking Ship, coffee from Tinker Coffee Co., desserts from Sunrise Bakery, wine and spirits from Cardinal Spirts and a host of other Indiana providers and craft beers from Scarlet Lane Brewery, Taxman Brewing Co. and Triton Brewing Co. Smoking Goose will serve sausage samples.

Throughout the event, which runs until 10 p.m., guests may tour the Gingerbread Village at Conner Prairie that features dozens of gingerbread house creations by local professionals and amateurs.

Holiday Cheers is supported by the Conner Prairie Horizon Council, the museum’s young professionals group.
