Join film historian and preservationist Eric Grayson as he presents a series of unique and rare vintage film titles. Tickets are available at the door for $5 on the night of the film. Popcorn, candy, and drinks are available for $1.

Bolero (1934):

A young dancer at the turn of the last century decides that he has the talent to become world famous. Using his brother to bankroll him, he burns through partners until he settlers on Carole Lombard, but WWI intervenes. Can the wounded veteran resume his career after so many years?

 

Celebrate musicals and Carole Lombard with VMN in winter 2016! Lombard was born in Fort Wayne and is not just famous for her screwball comedies. She played in a great variety of films, including musicals. Lombard was making personal appearances for the war effort when her plane left during a storm and crashed. She and her mother were killed.
