Instructor: Andrea Boucher
Now that you know the basic craft elements of writing creative nonfiction, here’s the opportunity to develop your voice and share your work in a supportive community of women writers. A writing workshop offers a great deal for both the writer and the reader. As the writer, you will receive invaluable insight and feedback from your readers and see firsthand the impact and value of your words. As the reader, you will learn how to thoughtfully critique writing, which is one of the best ways to discover what works and what doesn’t. Everyone will learn the value of listening closely and sharing meaningful work in this highly rewarding experience. We’ll also look at specific techniques each week that directly apply to the writing we are producing. (Prerequisite: students must have taken The Women’s Room 101 Fundamentals course.)
