Zionsville Concert Band

Presented by Zionsville Concert Band at Zionsville United Methodist Church

Did you play a musical instrument in high school or college? Is your instrument still in the back of your closet? Do you sometimes think you might like to get out that trombone or clarinet or French horn and play? Zionsville Concert Band is recruiting adult musicians to volunteer for its upcoming season. Auditions are not required, and all band instruments are welcome.

Although Zionsville Concert Band is named for its hometown, members also hail from Indianapolis, Lebanon, Danville, Beech Grove, Lawrence, Plainfield, and other cities in the area.

The 2016 season, which will be the band’s 15th, begins January 26 and runs to mid-December. The band rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Zionsville United Methodist Church, 9644 Whitestown Road, Zionsville.

Joining Zionsville Concert Band is free, and there is no remuneration.

For more information about the band, call Music Director John Richardson at (317) 727-4667.
